Preschool Pals3 and 4 Year Old Preschool Program at CPSInformationAPPLICATIONS for the 2023-2024 School Year are being accepted through March 1, 2023. The lottery date and openings may not be decided until April. This page will be updated as more information is available.APPLICATION FOR 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR IS CLOSEDPRESCHOOL LOTTERY WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 18, 2023Update: The Preschool Lottery was completed on April 18, 2023. We utilized a random number generator to select qualified applicants. There were 22 applicants to fill 5 new spots in the preschool program. There are 4 students returning to the preschool to fill the 9 allotted spots.PRESCHOOL LETTERS WILL BE EMAILED APRIL 27, 2023.UPDATE: THE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM WILL BE FULL DAY.
Preschool Check List
Below you will find a small list of items to send to school with your child on the first day of school.
Backpack to put belongings in. A folder to keep in their backpack to send important notes and information home in.
Change of clothes appropriate for weather in a Ziploc bag labeled with the student's name (short/long sleeve shirt, light sweater/hoodie, socks, pants, underwear).
Snack every day. We are a NUT FREE room. Listed below are some safe snack choices. If you choose to send something not on the list, please make sure there are no nuts and that it was made in a nut-free facility. If the wrapper says it was made in a facility where nuts, peanuts, or tree nuts were used, we cannot let your child have that snack. We check the wrappers every day to ensure the safety of our students.
- Fresh fruit and vegetables
- Goldfish
- Pretzels
- Teddy Grahams
- Crackers
- Cheese Sticks
Extra pair of sneakers to keep in the classroom for gym.
General Reminders
If your child is absent, you must call Mrs. Sedlacek, the school nurse.
About the Program:Preschool Program is a 5 day per week parent-paid preschool program in our public school district. Students must be 3 or 4 years old on or before October 1, 2023.
