Dear Parents/Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you about some upcoming changes to our staffing as we continue to provide a supportive and seamless learning environment for our students.
We are thrilled to announce that Mrs. Lauren Peachey has returned from her leave! Mrs. Peachey’s dedication and expertise are invaluable, and we are delighted to have her back at CPS on the Child Study Team.
Mrs. Toni Cespedes will begin her maternity leave on December 13, 2024. During her absence, Dr. Jenine Kastner will take over case management responsibilities to ensure ongoing student support.
We are also pleased to share that Mrs. Kristin Pignio will return on January 2, 2025, to teach the Language and Learning Disabilities (LLD) program for Language Arts and Mathematics. Mrs. Katherine Kelsey will teach the LLD Science and Social Studies classroom and the Grade 3/4 Resource Center in collaboration with Mrs. Carolyn Schorr.
As you know, this has been a busy year for our school, and we are deeply grateful for our dedicated team members who have stepped up to provide continuity for our students. Mrs. Lunger, Mrs. Polenz, Mr. Larkin, and Mrs. Jordan continue to cover Mrs. Gallaway's classes. At the same time, we anticipate a new teacher joining us within the next month or two to assume these responsibilities.
