Director of Special Services
Dr. Jenine Kastner
Dr. Jenine Kastner is the Director of Special Services who works for Clinton Glen Gardner School District in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She is also the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, Harassment Intimidation/Bullying Coordinator, Early Childhood Director, and School Safety Specialist for the district. She is an adjunct professor for Master's, Post Graduate, and Doctoral programs at different New Jersey and New York universities. She has extensive training and expertise in special education practices, Dyslexia assessment and interventions, professional development training, and program design. She has provided professional development training on various topics, including Dyslexia, Progress Monitoring, IEP Development, and Service Learning. She holds certifications for Elementary Teacher, Teacher of Special Education, Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, Supervisor, Principal, and School Administrator. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Seton Hall University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Kean University. She completed her Doctorate in Educational Administration at Centenary University. She attended Harvard Graduate School of Education and completed her Early Childhood Administrator Certificate. Her doctoral dissertation was a national analysis of blended learning in higher education. Based on her research, she has published articles on blended learning practices in higher education. Other publications include procedural guides on the process of progress monitoring in special education.
