 Do you enjoy solving really intense math problems?  If so, this is the link for you!
Here you will practice using two containers to pour liquid back and forth in an attempt to reach a specified target number in one of the two containers.  Be sure not to give up too easily...I promise that there is a solution to every problem!

This site can be easily accessed using your assigned username and password.  Then, once you're on the opening webpage, simply follow the directions to complete the tests, and enjoy the games!  Use this site often to help you to practice and review the skills you will need for the NJ ASK this spring.

 The computational knowledge engine!  There is nothing this site cannot do.  It's truly a gift to anyone who has ever struggled with a tricky homework assignment.  All I can say is, that you simply have to check this out for yourself!

e2 students are to use this site to discuss questions, activities, and online explorations that have been assigned in class.  As is the case with our EveryDay Math Online link, this wiki discussion group is only accessible to e2 students, as students are required to enter a username and password.  But, once you're on....what a fun way to do homework! :)

 Here is a link to a terrific, user friendly site that you can use if you should ever find yourself needing a specific sized of graph paper that you don't have at home.  You can make and print whatever size you need. (Very convenient!) :)

Here's another great site that we have been using in class during our study of 2-D and 3-D shapes. Several of you asked for a link to it fto be posted on my webpage, so here it is! Besides the fun we've been having in class, go ahead and explore some of the other areas in math. I've found some terrific multiplication and division review games that are sure to help you keep those facts sharp! Keep in mind that this site is created in Europe so anything to do with measurement will be metric and anything to do with money, will not be using pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. In Europe they use the Euro!
 
This is an amazing site that can provide you with some terrific practice in everything from platonic solids; to time; to money; to number operations; and almost every concept in between that we'll touch on this year.  This site is also well organized by grade level and topic.  The categories include: Number Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement,  Data Analysis and Probablity. There are even some amazing word problems where you'll need to fill and pour liquids into two different containers in an attempt to end up with the specified exact amount of liquid that the problem directs you to find.  All this in a fun, interactive environment...what more could you ask for?!  Click on this link and have some productive fun!
 
This is a fun site full of interactive games, flash cards, worksheets and even a homework helper section for students in grades K through 8.  The site is full of a variety of problems that range from the very simple to the more advanced.  Choose the best level for you and get in some fantastic practice here!
 
Math is fun is the site for you if you are interested in mastering those multiplication facts. The songs we've learned together are great, but when you're ready to make the leap to the next level and truly internalize your facts, this is a great place to practice. This is a terrific site for practicing all types of operational math, but I especially like it for division.  In addition to multiplication, division, addition and subtraction; you'll find lots of other terrific games to try; including practice in both area and perimeter!

However...be warned.... this site originated in Europe so any activities involving money will not be using the American money system we know and love! :-) Enjoy!

If you like to play with tangrams, this is the site for you!  Based upon the terrific picture book, Grandfather's Song , this site teaches you how to manipulate tangram shapes in order to create the animals and birds discussed in the story right on your own computer!  In addition, if you really want to get creative, try to make up some new ones on your own.  Have  fun!
