The Clinton Public School Guidance program is designed to help students develop positive self-concepts and effective decision-making skills. The guidance counselor works with students individually and in groups, assisting with school-related and personal concerns. Counseling services may concern career and academic planning, personal or crisis counseling. The counselor is available to any student or parent who wishes to address concerns, gain information or discuss alternative plans of action to get the best for each student. Assistance is available for students for high school placement and with the preparation of their freshman high school schedules.
HIB The Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, signed into law on January 2011, went into effect with the 2011-2012 school year. A copy of the law and our corresponding new Code of Conduct are available on the CPS website. If you have any questions, contact Jenine Kastner, Anti-Bullying Coordinator @ 735-8512 or Angela McVerry, Anti-Bullying Specialist @ 735-0950, ext 251.
