Free Full-Day Preschool for Three and Four-Year-Old Students

Clinton Glen Gardner School District is pleased to announce that it will offer free, full-day preschool for approximately 35 Clinton or Glen Gardner  resident students beginning on January 2, 2024. The current preschool program will expand to two preschool classes at Clinton Public School and one preschool class at the YMCA of Hunterdon County in Annandale, New Jersey. The YMCA program will be the only site offering before or aftercare services at this time for a fee for families who require this service. Over the next five years, New Jersey’s Preschool Expansion Aid (PEA) is anticipated to give the school the opportunity to include all three and four-year-old children from the community in the preschool program. Our goal is to reach all families within our community to increase awareness and connections to provide this opportunity for students who are eligible to participate.

We currently have students on the waitlist who applied for the 23-24 school year and were entered into the lottery. However, we do anticipate a few additional sports for the 23-24 school year. Students reaching age 3 on or before October 1, 2023 are eligible to apply to be added to the list. The application can be found on our website. You will receive additional details during the registration process. Due to our existing enrollment and our current lottery based wait list, if more students apply than spots are available, a lottery will take place. Please note, only applicants who provide proof of residency and the child's original birth certificate will be included in the lottery.
